Gov. John Bel Edwards announces the launch of LA SAFE — Louisiana’s Strategic Adaptations for Future Environments — during his keynote address at 2017 Res/Con New Orleans on March 7. LA SAFE — in partnership with Foundation for Louisiana — will create a community-focused resilience and adaptation policy framework to complement the state’s Coastal Master Plan.
